Power. Presence. Purpose: The HERitage Collective launches HER Circle in Abidjan

ABIDJAN — As this year’s Africa CEO Forum unfolds, a bold new gathering is quietly yet powerfully taking shape — and its resonance is being felt far beyond the elegant halls of La Résidence. HERCircle, the inaugural salon-style event launching The HERitage Collective, marks the beginning of a pan-African initiative committed to closing the gap between ambition and access for emerging African women leaders.

The premise is simple yet profound: while bold women exist across the continent and diaspora, the systems intended to accelerate their leadership are often fragmented or inaccessible. HERCircle offers an intentional alternative, a room where strategy meets sisterhood, where visibility is currency, and where capital begins with connection.

“In a world where women are still not well-represented in the spaces that shape economies and policy,” said Fatima Soleiman, co-convener of The HERitage Collective and a powerhouse in Rwanda’s real estate and construction industry, “HER Circle is a disruption — a space that doesn’t just invite women to the table but asks what happens when they design the table themselves.”

This evening will bring together a remarkable mix of decision-makers, bridge builders, and culture shapers — both women and men — for unfiltered conversations sparked by research-informed prompts on power, representation, and resource equity. No panels. No podiums. Just truth-telling and future-building.

HER Circle is more than an event,” says Sally Nnamani, social entrepreneur and co-convener behind The HERitage Collective. “It’s a launchpad.”

STRATEGIC PILLARS Underpinning the platform are three strategic pillars for long-term investment:

  • Visibility & Voice – “Crafting Powerful Narratives”
  • Access & Exposure – “Her Seat Isn’t Taken”
  • Capacity & Growth – “Lifting As We Rise”

Together, these elements represent a long-overdue commitment: African women don’t need fixing — they need access.

That access is being made possible by a coalition of visionary sponsors and ecosystem partners who see HERitage not just as a cause, but as a blueprint for Africa’s future.

Conduit Group Africa, a capital and infrastructure firm focused on social equity, has stepped up as a lead sponsor.

HER Circle is more than a gathering — it’s a catalyst for connection, confidence, and collective growth,” said Rebecca King, Co-Founder and COO. “We believe that when women have access to opportunity, resources, and each other, they don’t just lead — they transform industries, communities, and the continent.”

Moneda Invest Africa, committed to transforming African resources into African wealth, also joins the table.

“At Moneda Invest Africa, we understand that the future of Africa is shaped by the leaders we cultivate today,” said Ejike Egbuagu, Group Chief Executive. “This partnership with The HERitage Collective and BGR is a testament to our shared commitment to amplifying the voices of Africa’s next generation of female leaders. Through HER Circle, we’re not just sponsoring an event; we’re investing in the power, potential, and progress of women across the continent who are poised to drive transformation.

We are proud to stand alongside those who are actively breaking barriers, creating opportunities, and ensuring that Africa’s future is led by bold, visionary women. Moneda will continue to open doors for women leaders — providing capital and capacity to support a bright African future.”

Among the strategic partners is BGR, founded by Habibah A. Waziri, who is redefining Africa’s leadership pipeline by converting raw talent into resilient leaders.

“HERitage is exactly the kind of platform our continent needs,” she noted. “It’s not just about adding women to the room — it’s about equipping them with the tools and networks to own it.”

N’Gage Africa, led by visual storyteller Huguette Umutoni, sees HERitage as a critical narrative shift:

“The way the world sees Africa — and how Africans see themselves — starts with representation. This partnership allows us to use media not only to tell stories but to shift mindsets and shape futures.”

For Samantha Card, Founder of Success Beyond Game Day (Miami, Florida), the mission resonates deeply:

“The HERitage mission aligns with everything I stand for — amplifying the voices of high-performing women and creating intentional pathways to leadership. This isn’t about performative allyship; it’s about preparing and positioning women to lead at scale.”

Additional partners include ESpartners, Terra Tara Group, 7 Generation Africa, and JSquare Consulting Services — each offering critical expertise in ecosystem design, generational change, strategic capacity, and inclusive capital.

As we enter one of the most pivotal weeks in African business, one thing is clear: HER Circle is not just a moment, it’s a rising constellation, grounded in the belief that accelerating African women into leadership is critical to the continent’s future.
